Scholar Group

A large boxwood carving of an elderly scholar seated with his legs crossed and quizzical expression, on an impressive gnarled burr wood arm chair. His informal robe well defined and his long hair plaited to his waist. Beside him is a traditional root table with scholars items, including an abacus, brush pot and open book. All carvings supported on a fitted wood stand.
