Embroided Midnight Blue Lady’s Informal Robe

A lady’s informal robe, in midnight blue, finely embroidered overall with chrysanthemum, peaches and stylised peonies issuing from scholar’s vessels. Many of the vessels worked in Peking knot. The sleeve bands embroidered with ladies in gardens. Exceptionally good condition.
