A fine export lacquer cabinet decorated overall in gold takamaki-e, hiramaki-e and nashiji, on black ground. The doors decorated with exotic pavilions amidst rocky outcropsand a pair of golden pheasant poisedon the shoreline. The side panels and top, lacquered with ancient gnarledpine trees growing from rocky banks. Two doors open to reveal eightdrawers, all with similar themed decorated views.
