A very unusual Canton enamel blue ground and gilded cracked ice design polychome breakfast set, comprising of five cups (7cm height) and saucers (16cm diameter) one sugar bowl and lid, (12cm diameter) one bread basket with swinging handle, a butter dish with lid that has a gilt peach knop, situated on a tray, all with gilded rims.
N.B: Several vases with comparable pattern seen in the palace museum collections with Qianlong marks.
